The Light That All Might Believe!

John was a man sent from God to bear witness of the Light that all might believe. All the believers could have the right then to become children of God, to be born of Him (John 1:6-7, 12-13). Priests and Levites were sent by the Pharisees of the Jews to ask John about this. After questioning him, they finally asked, "Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?" (John 1:19, 24-25) John was busy doing what God sent him to do, to make believers who could have the right to become sons of God.

Are you, like John, using your opportunities to help folks see and understand the great Light, our Lord Jesus Christ? Jesus taught His disciples to "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world" (Matthew 28:18-20).

It is wonderful that anyone may believe and have the right to be born of God upon repenting, confessing Christ as the Son of God and being baptized for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38, Acts 8:35-39)!
